Horror Series

Yesterday I did a post on some horror movies I watched.
And I kind of forgot to mention that I started some series as well.
I finished the walking dead a while ago (for now).
Dexter was done.
Got to the end of American Horror Story season two.
(Yes I will watch season three soon)

I was looking for something new and find A LOT to choose from.
The most interesting ones were these:

HANNIBAL

There is one word to describe it : AWESOME!
I couldnt stop watching this like episode after episode.
Yes.. there might've been some flaws in the story.
Like when someone dissapears and no one seems to give a shit.
But whatever, that doesn't take away from all the awesome
murderscenes and other things in it.
If you are a fan of Dexter like myself, just go watch it.
It's classy.
I just hope they won't kill it by making 20 seasons of it.

Penny Dreadful

I only watched 2 or 3 episodes of this one,
but I'm getting really intrigued.
All these different characters into one series.
Dorian Gray (one of my favorite books) is in it.
They chose for a dark haired actor AGAIN but whatever.
Frankenstein, Vampires, and so much many more to come.
This will be one to follow for sure.

Salem

I am not convinced here yet, also only watched 2 episodes.
They have some great scenes, but just hard to keep your attention.
This might have been better as a movie, less talking more
doing?
Witches are in an uprising as it seems.

I just found another one called The Strain about vampires.
NICE!
haha
At least I hope it is!

As for vampires there was From Dusk Till Dawn again.
This is a new series, just watched 2 episodes.
Didn't get my full attention.
Might give it another chance 'cause I like the poster so much.

If you are not into series but like witches.
My favorites movies are

The Craft
I remember watching this as a kid.
My sister and me watched it over at her friends place.
Small strange room, candles, small old tv.
That's the way I like to remember watching horror movies.
Makes me want to watch it again.

Hocus Pocus
Another one from my childhood.
I loved to watch it back then.
Still love to watch it now.

It's been AGES

 HELLo again folks!

I've been busy with a lot of things, all things except this blog.
And it's a damn shame cause I do like watching and sharing horror movies.

So I did watch a few movies in the last couple of weeks, but ahhh there
isn't like ONE I would be super stocked to tell you about.

Afflicted was one of them and you may or may not know this,
but I am a HUGE fan of vampire movies/books/series anything.
So this was kind of a movie I was looking forward to,
being a more "realistic" version on a modern day vampire.
Anyways, it wasn't BAD but .. yeah.. no.
The ending kind of blew it. There is this part in the middle
that could've been a perfect open end.
People that make horror movies should be more into open
endings. Just saying.. it keeps people wondering and interested.
So as I said, not a bad movie. Just watch it.

Ok another movie was The Shrine
Not much to say about this one, not a fan myself.
Listen to the band The Shrine it wont be a waste of your time.

Then, House at the End of the Street
Not a bad movie, just more a girlsnight flick thing.
so get your popcorn out with this one.
And watch Bring it On afterwards.

I watched more but i just can't seem to remember many of them.
You're probably not missing out on any of it.

There was one other movie I'd like to tell you about.
Not really horror although mentioned in many horror movie lists of
this year.
It is Only Lovers Left Alive
Must be my favorite movie of the year so far.
Not only vampires but also very good music choice indeed.
Some stoner metal wouldn't have been bad in this one.
I just like the whole atmosphere, it's just feels so right.
The colours, the darkness, the characters.. Yes I like this movie
A LOT.

But!
Soon the Purge: Anarchy will be here !
haha
I CANNOT wait for this one.
glorious it will be.

In time,
Enjoy this Watain song I love.
